Plunger pump is an important device of hydraulic system. It depends on the plunger reciprocating movement in the cylinder, so that the volume of the sealing chamber volume change to achieve oil absorption, oil pressure. Plunger pump with a rated pressure, compact structure, high efficiency and flow and easy adjustment, is widely used in high pressure and large flow and flow needs to adjust the occasion, such as hydraulic machine, engineering machinery and ships.

Plunger pump is generally divided into single plunger pump, horizontal piston pump, axial piston pump:

1, single plunger pump

The structure mainly consists of eccentric wheel, plunger, spring, cylinder block and two check valves. A closed volume between the plunger and the cylinder bore. The eccentric wheel rotates and rotates, the plunger moves up and down once, downward movement of oil absorption, upward movement of oil discharge.  The volume of the oil discharged from the pump is called displacement, and the displacement is only related to the structural parameters of the pump.

2 、 horizontal plunger pump

Horizontal piston pump is composed of several plungers (usually 3 or 6), and 1 pistons are connected by connecting rod slider or driven directly by eccentric shaft to realize reciprocating motion. The hydraulic pump is used to suck and drain liquid. They also use valve type flow distribution devices, and most of them are quantitative pumps. The emulsion pump in coal mine hydraulic support system is usually horizontal plunger pump.

3, axial type

The axial piston pump is a piston pump parallel to the center axis of the cylinder. The axial piston pump works with the volume change produced by the reciprocating motion of the plunger parallel to the driving shaft in the plunger hole. As the plunger and the plunger hole are circular parts, processing can achieve high accuracy with high volume efficiency, therefore.
